Eligibility

NOLA Wise believes that every homeowner in New Orleans can make their house more comfortable while saving energy and reducing their monthly bills. Currently, our program serves homes that meet the following minimum criteria:

  • Located in Orleans Parish (including the West Bank)
  • Must be homeowner (rental properties are eligible with owner's permission)
  • Must submit 12 months of utility bills before and after retrofit

There are no income requirements for the program, and final upgrade costs (after incentives are applied) must be paid out of pocket or through our exclusive low interest loans with Fidelity Homestead Savings Bank. Loan application approval depends on credit score.
